About the Role  
Artisan Direct is seeking a reliable and tech-savvy Weekend On-Call Contractor Support Representative to serve as the primary contact for our network of independent contractors and human directional sign holders. This role ensures smooth weekend operations, timely communication, and responsive support using our Directed app and internal tools.

You will provide Tier 1 support, fielding real-time requests, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining key communication to help contractors complete directional sign installations effectively.

Location:  
Remote (U.S.-based only)  
Must be available during Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Work Hours:  
On-call from Friday 4:30 PM EST through Monday 8:00 AM EST  

Busier support windows include:  
- Friday: 4:30 PM – 12:00 AM  
- Saturday: 5:00 AM – 4:00 PM  
- Sunday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM  

Typical weekend workload ranges from 8 to 16 hours depending on activity.  
Contractor is responsible for tracking and logging all hours worked.

Responsibilities  
- Be available and responsive from Friday 4:30 PM EST to Monday 8:00 AM EST  
- Provide real-time support during peak weekend windows  
- Use an app-based phone system to handle all calls and texts with contractors and sign holders  
- Respond to Tier 1 support needs such as technical questions, app issues, and routing problems  
- Communicate with and support human directional sign holders, confirming weekend activity  
- Serve as the main contact to help resolve issues in the field  
- Join two brief weekly calls with the contractor management team  
  - Friday prep call  
  - Monday morning wrap-up call  
- Log and document all support interactions  
- Track and report hours worked each weekend

Training and Onboarding  
- Attend weekday training sessions with team members  
- Go through the installer onboarding process to understand the contractor experience  
- Run demo routes using your own vehicle and the Directed app

Requirements  
- Experience in customer support, contractor coordination, or field service  
- Comfortable using mobile apps and web-based tools  
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills  
- Laptop and reliable internet access required during on-call hours  
- Must be U.S.-based and available on weekends during Eastern Time  
- Responsible, self-motivated, and able to work independently  
- Bonus if you have experience with sign installation, gig-economy work, or app-based field operations

Work Environment  
- Remote, on-call role  
- Not desk-bound, but you must be reachable and responsive throughout the weekend  
- Actual workload varies from weekend to weekend  
- You are the primary point of contact for weekend contractor support
