Job Description:
We are Hass Express, a vertically integrated grower, packer, and exporter of premium Colombian Hass avocados. We ship over 10 containers per week to the U.S., with full control from farm to dock.

We’re looking for a market entry strategist / sales freelancer with experience in U.S. produce sales, wholesale, or food distribution, to help us break into new sales channels, improve our client mix, and land qualified buyer trials.

Your Mission:
Help us move beyond low-margin, inconsistent clients by identifying, contacting, and setting meetings with new avocado buyers — including:

Regional wholesalers

Foodservice distributors

Brokers with avocado programs

Mid-sized retailers

We’re not looking for fluff — we want real conversations with buyers who can take consistent weekly volumes.

Your Responsibilities:
Build a vetted lead list of U.S.-based avocado buyers

Conduct cold/warm outreach via email or LinkedIn

Set up qualified intro calls (you or us can take them)

Advise us on pitch strategy, positioning, or pricing (bonus)

Track progress in CRM or shared lead tracker

Ideal Skills & Experience:
Sales or business development in fresh produce or perishable food

Experience working with U.S. wholesalers, retailers, or foodservice distributors

Strong English communication, written and spoken

Familiarity with lead gen tools, cold outreach, and follow-up systems

Bonus: Experience working with avocados, tropical fruit, or Latin American exporters

Compensation:
Hourly rate: $20–$30/hour depending on experience

Initial contract: 10–20 hours/week for 4 weeks

Bonus for container trial conversions

Long-term role possible if there’s strong performance

Why Work With Us:
Direct access to the CEO — fast decisions, no red tape

Full control of supply chain = better promise-keeping

We're already exporting at volume — we need the right buyers, not more fruit
