Job Title: Inventory & Compliance Coordinator
Location: Elkridge, MD 21075 (Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible extension and conversion)
Pay Rate: $26/hour on W2 (No benefits)

Job Overview

We are seeking an Inventory & Compliance Coordinator to support global demo asset inventory for the Rest of World (RoW) Applications Engineering team. This role manages asset records, coordinates shipments, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports process improvement initiatives. You will play a key role in logistics accuracy, operational efficiency, and audit readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate asset records, including status, location, ownership, and usage history.
  • Coordinate demo asset shipments, transfers, returns, and disposals.
  • Prepare logistics and compliance documents (export control forms, customs paperwork, certificates).
  • Support asset lifecycle policy creation and enforcement.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Monitor asset condition and recommend proper disposition.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Applications Engineering to allocate demo equipment.
  • Partner with Global Trade Compliance for ITAR, EAR, and regional regulatory alignment.
  • Assist with onboarding and training on asset management processes.
  • Generate inventory reports for leadership, audits, and financial teams.

Qualifications

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
  • Knowledge of global trade compliance, export controls, and shipping processes.
  • Experience with ERP/CRM systems (SAP preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities.
  • Able to lift items up to 50 lbs.
