I need hands-on help securing reliable industrial-grade components and machinery from Asia, then moving those goods smoothly through every sales-logistics step until they reach our warehouse.

The assignment starts with supplier discovery and vetting: build a shortlist of qualified manufacturers across the region, verify certifications, gather sample pricing, lead times, MOQs and negotiate the first quotations. Once we green-light a vendor, you’ll shift into operational mode—tracking inventory levels in a shared sheet or lightweight WMS, booking sea or air freight, and preparing all paperwork for customs clearance under the correct HS codes and Incoterms. Clear communication with forwarders, factories and customs brokers is critical; delays cost us money.

Deliverables

• Supplier assessment report (minimum three options per SKU)

• Live inventory tracker with reorder alerts

• Shipment schedule with confirmed freight bookings and insurance details

• Complete customs file for each consignment, showing duties, taxes and clearance status

Success means competitively priced goods, on-time departures, zero customs holds and an updated stock position visible to my sales team at any moment. If you already work with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, SAP, or ShipStation—and you know your way around import documentation—you’ll be up and running fast.
