🛃 Customs and Trade Compliance

As a Global Trade Compliance Supply Chain Analyst, you will manage and update Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, country of origin information, and other trade compliance data in SAP. You will resolve import and export shipment delays during customs clearance and conduct post-entry audits. Additionally, you will maintain records for all imports and exports, collaborate on internal SOPs and work instructions to identify best practices, and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support lab consumables needs by working with stakeholders such as R&D and PD Labs.
  • Review monthly inventory usage and set up reorder points for Kanbans.
  • Analyze trends in inventory consumption and review reorder points periodically.
  • Collaborate with the Material Management team on inventory management tasks, including SKU setup, goods receiving, and reporting.
  • Add and remove inventory in SAP.

Essential Skills

  • 3-5 years of work experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, or other supply chain functions.
  • 3-5 years of work experience in biotech-pharmaceuticals.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and influencing skills with demonstrated ability to problem solve and drive positive change.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, particularly in materials management and inventory and data management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or other relevant discipline preferred.
  • Project management experience.
  • Licensed Customs Broker is a plus but not required.
  • FDA, MHRA, or EMA experience preferred.

Work Environment

This is a remote position with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, requiring availability to work across global time zones and some weekend work hours. The role is a temporary contract lasting for one year, with potential extension based on business needs. Candidates must be semi-local to attend any onsite meetings as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $43.27/hr.
