Job Summary:We are searching for a motivated Manager to join our Trade Compliance team. The Manager will be responsible for preparing monthly reports, managing customs value changes, conducting customs entry audits, and supporting customs duties and import-export data. The role also includes supporting Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, country of origin assessment, valuation, and other customs-related issues. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong academic background in finance, supply chain, or customs experience, and a genuine interest in international trade.
Key Responsibilities:  • Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.  • Manage various import and export reporting in SAP, Excel, and Power BI.  • Resolve customs issues at entry time.  • Issue reports that provide clear insights into KPIs and customs-related business trends.  • Support product classification and country of origin assessments.  • Conduct preferential origin assessments for Free Trade Agreement eligibility and prepare Certificates of Origin.  • Maintain Master Data across systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.  • Maintain recordkeeping of import/export transactions using internal systems.  • Audit entries and calculate Key Performance Indicators.  • Assist in managing the Duty Drawback program, including data collection and reporting.  • Monitor CBP and PGA regulation changes to ensure compliance.  • Support customs value adjustments process.
Required Skills:  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.  • Minimum 2 years of experience in import/export, customs brokerage, financial analysis, or global supply chain.  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and functions.  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.  • Initiative to improve processes and implement solutions independently.  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills:  • Customs Brokerage License.  • SAP experience.  • Experience with import/export compliance software.  • Familiarity with US Customs regulations and procedures.
