Job Description
We are looking for a Specialist to support export compliance activities for Central and Eastern Europe.
This individual will manage the ECAAP and ISNR processes for international customers, ensuring compliance and efficiency across all programs in the region. The position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a regional export license database to track pre-sale and post-sale license configurations.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to proactively manage multiple priorities. The Specialist will collaborate with stakeholders across Program Management, Sales, Trade Compliance, and Engineering to ensure export approvals are aligned with program schedules and customer commitments.
The Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining TAA status from initial submission through amendments, signatures, renewals, and closures. In addition, they will manage customer sign-off on DSP-83 and End-User Licenses (EUL), as well as oversee the submission and completion of DSP-5, DSP-6, and Commerce licenses.
Essential Functions
· Manage the end-to-end ECAAP and ISNR processes for assigned regional programs
· Develop and maintain an export license database to support compliance tracking and reporting
· Coordinate pre-sale and post-sale license requirements, ensuring accuracy and timely approvals
· Monitor compliance obligations and escalate risks or issues as needed
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align export licensing with program execution
· Track and report export license status to stakeholders and leadership
· Support audits, reviews, and process improvements for export compliance
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant program management, trade compliance, or export licensing experience
· Must be organized. Managing multiple countries, multiple licenses worth of customers.
· Experience with international export compliance.
· Collaborative – working with internal (Trade Compliance, other PM’s) and external stakeholders.
· Providing weekly status briefs to senior level PM’s.
· Rigorous paperwork, must be motivated in serving customer/end user
· Experience with ITAR, EAR, and other international export compliance regulations
· Strong organizational and time-management skills with ability to prioritize effectively
· Proactive self-starter with strong drive to achieve goals and meet deadlines
· Computer savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate across functions
Preferred Additional Skills
· Familiarity with Tactical Communications products and licensing processes
· Experience working with international customers and multi-national teams
· Knowledge of database management and reporting tools
