Customs & Trade Compliance Specialist

Requirements<\/h3>

• 3–7 years of experience in U.S. customs compliance and tariff classification.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations, including HTSUS classifications and tariff regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable trade and import requirements.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Accurately classify products under HTSUS and maintain up\-to\-date tariff classification records.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Monitor and interpret changes in U.S. trade regulations, including Section 232, Section 301 duties, and other industry\-specific compliance requirements.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Support import operations by ensuring documentation accuracy and coordinating with customs brokers for smooth clearance processes.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Identify duty optimization opportunities, including tariff engineering and duty drawback programs.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Conduct internal audits and support compliance reporting related to customs and trade regulations.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Collaborate cross\-functionally with sourcing, logistics, legal, and product teams to ensure adherence to trade compliance standards.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related discipline.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Strong knowledge of HTSUS, CBP regulations, Incoterms, and import documentation processes.<\/span>
  <\/span><\/span><\/li>
• Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) certification or similar trade compliance certification is preferred.<\/span>
